- Your Study Program is less than 6 months in length and you plan to leave Canada immediately after the program has ended.
- You are a family or staff member of a foreign representative in Canada, who is accredited by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada.
- You are a Member of Foreign armed forces from the Visiting Forces Act.
- You are a citizen of another country, but you have an Native Indian status registered in Canada.
If none of the above apply to you, you will most likely require a Study Permit. Use the CIC Tool below to check for sure. Your GEM Mentor will be able to further guide you on the requirements of applying for a Study Permit.
